Legal Advisor

J.R. Lederer serves as Advisory Board Member and General Counsel at Hurricane Capital. He brings nearly two decades of legal experience spanning corporate finance, restructuring, and investment management.

J.R. began his legal career in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he focused on restructuring and corporate finance transactions. He later transitioned to an in-house counsel role at an SEC-registered investment manager, supporting the operations of a multi-billion dollar equity long/short fund.

J.R. holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
