Co-President, Head of Distribution

Before joining Hurricane Capital, Bob served as the Head of the Global Client Group at AllianceBernstein overseeing worldwide sales, service, marketing and product strategy for both the institutional and third-party distribution channels. In that capacity, he ran one of the firm’s strategic business units and served on the firm’s Operating Committee. He also was President and CEO of the AllianceBernstein Funds and during his career served on the Boards of AllianceBernstein entities in the U.K., Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Australia. Further, he spent seven years of his career in leadership roles within Bernstein Global Wealth Management and for a period of time had oversight responsibility for its US-based field force. Before AllianceBernstein, Bob held a variety of sales and sales leadership roles at Investors Bank & Trust and Kidder, Peabody. Bob’s more formative years were spent in sales roles at Digital Equipment Corporation and at IBM. He earned a BA from Brown University.
